HINES BLIND VETS - VOLUNTEER SIGN UP
Hines Blind Vets Need Your Help. We still are in need of a few more volunteers to help the vets play golf at Rolling Green on Thursday morning, July 30. Each vet is assigned an RGCC member who drives the cart, helps them align their shots and putts, and has a free lunch with them after about 90 minutes of golf. Sign Up sheets are in both men's and women's locker rooms. *** SPECIAL INCENTIVE WHEN YOU CONTACT CHRISSY IF YOU SIGN UP A GROUP OF 3 FRIENDS AND YOURSELF. TOTAL OF 4 VOLUNTEERS. MUST COMPLETE VOLUNTEER DUTIES. VA- Hines Blind Center Golf Outing Schedule 9:00 AM: Country Club Members/ Volunteers arrive 9:15 AM: Instruction on how to golf with visually impaired 9:30 AM: Veterans from VA-Hines Bind Center arrive 9:45 AM: Meet and greet the veterans as they get off the bus, help them get comfortable, and ready to head out to the course 10:00 AM: Veterans play golf while volunteer assists with each shot 11:30 AM: Start heading in for Lunch 12:30 PM: Members introduce and share highlights from the day 1:30 PM: Help the veterans back to the bus for departure
